Product Description

Plastic surgeons are often involved in complex surgical procedures requiring the presence of multiple surgeons or providers in order to achieve safe and effective outcomes for our patients. These additional providers may be another plastic surgeon, a non-plastic surgeon, resident(s), nurse practitioner(s) and physician assistant(s), among others. Third-party payers, including the government and commercial insurance companies, recognize the need for these additional providers and have designated several modifiers that may be used to ensure that these providers are appropriately reimbursed for their services.
