Upon completion of this live virtual activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Apply operational, financial, workforce, patient-experience, and career-development strategies to address challenges encountered in private, academic, and employed plastic surgery practices.
  • Compare surgical and nonsurgical approaches to facial rejuvenation—including facelift, neck-contouring, periorbital, fat-grafting, and regenerative techniques—to select treatments based on patient anatomy, clinical indications, and procedural considerations.
  • Evaluate contemporary approaches to body contouring, high-definition liposuction, and structural and preservation rhinoplasty to inform patient selection, procedural planning, and risk assessment.
  • Select evidence-based techniques and technologies for aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery based on patient characteristics, clinical indications, reconstructive or aesthetic goals, and available safety and outcomes evidence.
  • Integrate current evidence and risk-management strategies into plans for preventing, recognizing, and managing clinical, technological, regulatory, and practice-related risks in plastic surgery.
