ASPS Social Media Toolkit: Course 3 – Hashtags starts by describing what a hashtag is and what the advantages are to using them. The course will then address platform-specific strategies. For example, Part 1 of the course will discuss Instagram in particular. Part 2 will then cover not only the use of hashtags on X, TikTok and Facebook, but it will also introduce you to shadow banning and what steps you need to take to avoid it.
Note: As part of this collection, it is necessary to complete the course on social media ethics (Course 1 – What You Need to Know) before you will be able to complete Course 3 – Hashtags (Part 1 and Part 2).
