Description : A 1 year, comprehensive plastic surgery fellowship providing training in all aspects of transgender surgery and perioperative care. Surgical scope includes, but is not limited to, vaginoplasty, phalloplasty, metoidioplasty, masculinizing & feminizing chest surgery, masculinizing & feminizing facial surgery. Program's attending faculty include: Drs Jess Ting, Marci Bowers, Frank Fang, & Bella Avanessian. Additional visiting faculty include: Marcelo DiMaggio & Miro Djordjevic. Prerequisite: successful completion of an ACGME accredited surgical residency program. As part of the interview process, a visiting rotation is strongly encouraged.
