ConnectMed’s
International
Fellowship
supports
plastic
surgeons
native
to
and
practicing
in
resource-limited
communities
who
wish
to
acquire
intensive
hands-on
surgical
training
not
otherwise
available
to

The
intent
of
the
training
is
to
benefit
not
only
patients
but
also
strengthen
local
healthcare
systems
because
the
Fellows
will
train
others
in
their
communities
and
build
up
local
programs.
The
time
period
and
duration
of
the
Fellowship
is
flexible
and
depends
on
the
schedules
of
the
Fellow
and
the
training
sites,
as
well
as
the
Fellow’s
particular
training
objectives.
Applicants
must
be
plastic
surgeons,
craniofacial
surgeons,
or
surgeons
in
related
fields
from
developing
countries.
Participation
in
ConnectMed’s
International
Fellowship
also
requires
research
about
capacity-building
in
your
home
country.
