Board-eligible
graduates
of
U.S.
accredited
plastic
surgery,
neurosurgery
and
orthopaedic
surgery
programs
are
invited
to
spend
one
year
as
a
fellow/clinical
instructor
in
peripheral
nerve
and
microsurgery
with
head-to-toe
exposure
to
pediatric
and
adult
patients.
The
experience
entails
a
broad
range
of
conditions
ranging
from
facial
palsy,
diaphragm
paralysis,
brachial
plexus
injuries,
foot
drop
and
phantom
limb
pain.
The
fellow
will
become
facile
with
a
diverse
set
of
microsurgical
techniques,
including
neurolysis,
nerve
graft,
nerve
transfer,
targeted
muscle
reinnervation
and
free
functional
muscle
transfer.
