The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Department of Surgery in the School of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a BE/BC (or equivalent) pediatric plastic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; academic rank and track will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and stature in the field. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching in plastic surgery. This position will have opportunities for involvement with pediatric cases involving craniofacial surgery, microsurgery and general plastic surgery. Clinical activities will be primarily centered at Manning Family Children’s, a full service, regional facility. There are leadership opportunities within the department and within the clinical partner hospital administration for candidates with leadership and management experience.
