The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We are currently seeking candidates for a Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery specialist to join our team at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Maryland,
and Tysons Corner Medical Center in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

What You Can Expect:
- A broad reconstructive practice which includes both implant-based
and autologous breast reconstruction, post-weight-loss soft tissue
removal, head-to-toe reconstruction of soft tissue defects in coordination
with our surgical oncology team, post-Mohs reconstruction of facial
defects, breast reductions, functional blepharoplasties, transgender top
surgery, and other miscellaneous reconstructive cases
- Work in a collaborative environment with a group of 7 other
full-time plastic surgeons
- Call coverage for our patients which is split evenly among all
plastic surgeons, and does NOT involve coverage of hand call
- This position is listed as a 1.0 FTE, which is the equivalent of 40
hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
- Microvascular fellowship is preferred but not required; should have
comfort and willingness to perform microsurgical cases, primarily in
context of breast reconstruction (DIEP flaps), as part of two-surgeon team
Minimum Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of
Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $475,000 which considers
an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications,
training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary
range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total
compensation package.
Effective July 1, 2026, the starting annual salary for this position will
increase to $500,000.
