The University of Maryland School of Medicine is seeking candidates to join the full-time faculty of the Division of Plastic Surgery. This role is comprehensive and requires individuals who are board-certified in Plastic Surgery or have completed training in an accredited Plastic Surgery residency. Responsibilities will include establishing a broad Plastic Surgery practice within the University of Maryland Medical System, providing care to complex plastic surgery patients, educating medical students, surgery residents, and fellows. We are looking for candidates who have a clear plan for clinical practice building, academic development, and scholarly activity that is consistent with the mission of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. 

Faculty will have the privilege and responsibility of teaching all facets of plastic surgery to integrated plastic surgery trainees as well as general surgery trainees. They will expand their research and scholarly activities to achieve national and international recognition as they advance the field. The University of Maryland is a world-renowned research institution that provides a superb academic foundation for basic, clinical, and translational research. Robust opportunities exist to enhance the Division’s existing research portfolio through collaboration with various researchers within the Department of Surgery and across the University.
