Clinical Research Fellowship -Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service 
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY

The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering offers a 1-2-year clinical research fellowship which will provide candidates interested in reconstructive plastic surgery a strong foundation for residency and fellowship and a career in academic surgery. The fellowship would begin July 1, 2025.

  
Applicants should have a strong clinical interest in reconstructive plastic surgical procedures, patient reported outcomes and quality of life metrics. The service is looking for a 2-year commitment from a qualified candidate in the medical field (i.e. medical student, resident, fellow).  1-year positions will be considered for qualified medical students. 


The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Service at MSKCC is a high-volume, academic group that specializes in complex oncologic reconstructions of the head and neck, breast, trunk and extremity as well as lymphatic surgery.  The fellowship would encompass projects across these disciplines.  Applicants are expected to have a basic understanding of statistical analysis and will gain experience in all areas of clinical research methodology (protocol design, IRB submission, project implementation, data collection, data analysis, abstract preparation and presentation, manuscript drafting).
