Boston
Medical Center (BMC) and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of
Medicine (BUCASM) are jointly recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible
plastic surgeon to join the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The
ideal candidate must have a strong background in microsurgery and interest in microsurgical
breast reconstruction, lower extremity reconstruction, and reconstruction of
complex defects. However, this position encompasses the full spectrum of
plastic surgery including breast surgery and post-bariatric body contouring.
In
addition to providing expert patient care using the latest treatments and
technologies, the division places a high priority on the training and
development of general surgery residents, the education of medical students,
and on improving care through research. The successful candidate will have strong
clinical credentials, a collaborative approach to patient care, and a
commitment to teaching.
The
selected candidate will be an additional faculty member to the current four
surgeons and five advanced practice clinicians.
