Radiesse

I had 2 syringes of Radiesse injected 5 month ago into the fold on my face and I do not see any improvment in my appearance :( Why?

Procedure: Dermal Fillers
Location: Chittenango, NY

Radiesse is a filler I have had success with for over 25 years. It needs to be used in the right location for the right problem. You may actually benefit from a jowl lift or face lift to lift the extra skin in your face. Good luck.

Assuming you enjoyed an initial contour benefit from the injection of the two syringes (3 cc.'s) of Radiesse, the most likely reason for non persistence is the bioactive stimulation of your collagen production from the Calcium hydroxyappetite was poor. I suggest you try a hyaluronic acid type filler next.

Thank you for sharing your question. Without photographs it is difficult to comment but commonly the issue with poor results is inadequate amounts of filler placement - typically spreading the filler too thinly among many areas. Talk to your injector who should be able to supply you with more detailed information and recommendations.

Results with injectable are only partially dependent on product, volume, placement, and technique. The analysis of the anatomic concern is foremost. Sometimes both volumization with a concomitant lift, either with a thread lift (non surgical) or a facelift, best address the concern. Best to visit a Bd Certified Plastic Surgeon for a consult who enjoys performing both surgical and non surgical approaches. For over a decade i alone provided all the injrctables at my med spa offering both nonsurgical and surgical options.so i have personally explored the limits of both. Usually a combination produces optimal results.
