Hello, 18 years ago, I had an accident that resulted in a split, upper lip. Emergency room doctor, sewn back my upper lip. Tooth implant surgery was performed, for the front tooth, year later. During the last 2 years, my upper lip is more swollen than my younger years. How can i reduce the upper lip swelling? What is the range of cost, for such procedure, and recovery time? Thanks.
Scars often cause unsightly swelling. Coat of a lip reduction is about 1500 in my chester office. Good luck.

The upper lip can be reduced by excising some of it on its inner surface which can be done under a local anesthetic. The cost would be about $2500. You would need to be in my office area for only a couple of days.
