What would be the minimum age required to have a chin augmentation surgery?

I am only 15 years old, but recently learned about chin surgery. I am very interested in getting one, as I have a very receded chin. To make matters worse my profile looks less proportionate due to my large nose, hence I would very much be thankful if you can help me shine some light on such matter. Thank you!

Procedure: Chin Surgery
Location: Chicago, IL

There is no minimum age for a chin implant but the first thing to do is to find out if it is just your chin, or more of your facial bone structure that is out of proportion. This requires an in person evaluation to see if your jaw, teeth, and other facial structures developed properly. Of course, you need to have a discussion with your parents about how you feel. In some cases, nose and chin procedures can be done at age 15 or 16 with parental approval.

Hello, about chin implant is mandatory know about the facial bones. Is very important the jaw an the nose and some bones points that whit cefalometric study can understand. Usually the plastic surgeon works with other colleagues like orthodontist who makes that. We have to evaluate all facial structures before the surgery

I would not proceed with chin surgery until chin and nasal growth are complete. Age 17-18 for a female, age 18-19 for a male. Balancing the chin and the nose is important, and both need to complete their growth.
