Good afternoon! I'm 25yo and my vertical lip lines really upsets me. I've already tried the filling procedure with Judeverm one year ago but it didn't work. I would like to know the best procedure to get rid of this instead of fillings. Thank you.
Vertical lip lines are "mimetic" lines, or ones that form from facial muscle expression. For vertical lip lines that tends to be motions that purse the lips (drinking from a straw, smoking). If you smoke, quit! If it is just a genetic trait and fillers weren't helpful I would consider laser to correct these which should be very effective. I would recommend TRL laser by Sciton with an plastic surgeon who has expertise in laser. Good luck!
Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Firstly, remove any habits that can predispose them - smoking and using straws. Then consider a good skin care regimen supplemented with peels and microneedling and light botox. Hope this helps.
