Labiaplasty hypersensitivity

I had labiaplasty 6 days ago I am very hypersensitive from the hood down to my vaginal opening is this normal will the pain go away

off course you only have 6 days ,it needs at leat two weeks ,but you use some lubricant and painkillers while this happen

your doctor must have told you this ??

Thank you for sharing your question. It would not be unusual to have some sensation related changes as a result of surgery. I would allow your results to mature for at least 6-8 weeks and then revisit your surgical results. Hang in there!

Sorry to hear about your discomfort. Since you just had surgery, this is really a question that you should be asking of the surgeon who performed your procedure so that he/she knows how you are healing.

Have you had any communication with your surgeon? Of course you are hypersensitive at 6 days, and you probably will be at 6 weeks, but you will be healed enough at 4 weeks for intercourse. Don't worry about it, go about your job and home life, and each day will be better. You will have at least 1 post -op visit in the next week. Mention it then. Very few patients have any problem at 2 months.
