Gynecomastia post surgery concern

Hi,

I recently (two weeks ago) had a gyno surgery. It may be too early to tell, but I feel as if the gland or some sort of gyno tissue hasn't been completely removed?

The LAST picture (arm flex) is from 2018 (with gyno) and low bodyfat (8-10%) & 6pack.

Procedure: Breast Reduction
Location: Benfleet, G - United Kingdom

There is always a bit of postoperative swelling. It is too early to judge your final results. You would be well advised to discuss this with your surgeon rather than seeking postoperative guidance online. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. Depending upon the technique used, likely there is some residual gland whether it be excision or liposuction based. Also, you will feel some fibrosis or preliminary scar tissue at this point. Your final result will likely take months. Be sure to follow up with your surgeon.

Kind regards,

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It is difficult to say without an in-person examination but as you are only two weeks out from surgery I would urge you to allow your results more time to mature. This can take up to 6 months after surgery. Hope this helps.
