Columella/Tip Assymetry Post-Rhinoplasty (Stitch Fell Off)

Had a rhinoplasty 8 months ago and a stitch fell off 2 days post OP from one side of columella (It drained a lot of water/blood too.) Since then, my columella/tip area looks crooked when seen in frontal view and it bothers me. My surgeon said the scar can be fixed with an in-office scar revision. But I'm worried if the crookedness will remain. Will the scar revision fix symmetry? & when to do it?

Procedure: Rhinoplasty
Location: Los angeles, CA

It would be best to direct this question to your surgeon. Your photo does not demonstrate overt asymmetry. Everyone, even those who appear symmetric are asymmetric if one looks very closely. However if the asymmetry is so slight that it is not apparent except to very close scrutiny, one is essentially symmetric. Perfect symmetry is an aspirational goal that is rarely achieved. Best wishes.

You will likely have residual columellar tilt and tip asymmetry after a scar revision.
