Indents after implant removal.

i had implants put in jan 2018. I had them both removed after a bunch of complications in September 2019. I now have deformed breasts. And I keep going back to my surgeon who put them in asking to fix them. I paid so much money to have them removed less the 2 years later, but I am getting no where. I don’t know where to start to fix this. It’s been 7 months now

Procedure: Breast Implant Removal
Location: hervey bay, QLD - Australia

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Without knowing what was exactly done (en bloc versus implant removal alone) it is difficult to offer advice. I would wait at least a year from removal, options at that point involve replacing implants, scar lysis and rearrangement of breast tissue to help minimize recurrence, fat grafting, etc.

Kaylah, Thank you for your question and photos. I recommend to my breast implant removal patients that they be patient and wait a year before considering additional surgery after removal. At that time you could consider additional surgery for restoring shape and volume. That may include a lift or fat transfer or a combination. For now, I would start massage if you have not already and consider cupping to help with the tissue indents in the lower pole. This can be done with soft silicone cups purchased on Amazon and boosts the improvement from massage. Continue communication with your surgeon is important too. Best of luck.
