I had revision to decrease my nostrils and narrow mt bridge and tip..After surgery i had a splint on for 10 days, The day i had my splint removed my nose looked really narrow on think. The coming days after my nose started to get bigger....Will my nose return to the size it was when my splint was removed?

Hi Robert.

It is normal to have edema (swelling) of the nose after rhinoplasty. This can last for up to several months. I recommend that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

It happens that after removing the splint swelling comes out, it's just lymphedema; I'm sure your surgeon can suggest how to properly massage the nose for lymphatic drainage and in case adding some lymphatic draining medications. No worries, if, after removing the splint you liked your nose, it will come out that way again, just takes sometime.

Good day Robert

Totally agree with my colleagues, wait for few months it will improve, but skin quality and type of the skin may affect the final outcome.
