How much down time And how much does it cost
A neck lift has an average downtime of about one month "social downtime" where you would not be attending regular social functions. You can expect swelling and bruising for up to two weeks, numbness of the skin for several weeks and incisions that will be raised for at least one month. Scars in the face and neck tend to heal very well but are still pink at three months, taking up to a full year to flatten and fade.
Cost of a neck lift varies depending on the complexity of the surgery, whether an overnight's stay is recommended, and the location you live in. In San Francisco, the average total cost, including surgical fees, anesthesia and operating room time averages $15,000. It's an investment, but an incredible one!

The fee for a neck lift will vary from surgeon to surgeon and also in different regions of the country. In general, a neck lift will likely result in a 7 to 10 day downtime period after surgery. Many times a neck lift will be done in conjunction with a full facelift. This will depend on the patient’s overall anatomy. Good luck.
Hello and thank you for your question. The cost of a neck lift procedure depends on the geographic region and the complexity of the case. Most patients require 10 days to 2 weeks to recover but will continue to heal over the next 3 to 6 months as the bruising and swelling goes away and the incisions heal, turn pink and then fade.
Hope this helps answer your question!

hello thank you for the question
i am agree with the previous answers of the doctors
the time of the return off the neck lift is 3 to 4 weeks,
and the cost of it in my practice is 5000 us dollars including the facility, OR, surgeon and anesthesia.
Thank you for the question. Swelling and bruising will last for about 2-3 weeks. She shape will get better overtime. The cost ranges from$12,000- $15,000.
Thank you for your excellent question. In my practice, a neck lift is typically performed in an operating room under sedation and local anesthesia, but does not require general anesthesia. The procedure takes about 90 minutes, and typically involves a combination of liposuction, neck muscle tightening, and skin excision and tightening. Patients go home the same day, and return the first day for dressing change and drain removal. Bruising typically lasts 5-7 days, while some degree of swelling is noticeable for 2-4 weeks. That being the case, most patients return to work in about 5 - 7 days, but limit their activity and exposure for the full duration of recovery. As you can tell from this thread, pricing largely depends on your geographic location / city. Good luck!
The type of neck lift performed varies in complexity as it will also vary in cost. Sometimes the skin can be tightened non surgically to more invasive having your muscles tightened and skin cut out surgically. Meet with a few board certified plastic surgeons and share your concerns so they will make appropriate recommendations to specifically address what you want and give you an exact quote for the procedure that is recommended.
Downtime and cost depend on which type of neck lift (open or closed) is best one for you based on your anatomy. On average the downtime 2.5 weeks before returning to work or social engagements. This can be longer for more extensive work, or shorter for smaller neck lift procedures. Swelling in the lower face along the jawline is common and diminishes over 7-10 days. Open neck lift scars are placed around the ear and so are visible, whereas closed neck lift (best for minimal skin looseness) are hidden.
Cost depends on many factors: extent of surgery (sometimes a lower face lift is needed to ensure proper facial proportion), the surgeon's level of training and skill, location and travel costs. In Washington DC, the cost of surgery (including all hospital fees and pre/post care; excluding travel related cost) ranges from $9,000 to $18,000 with an average of $13,500.
Hello, Dianel! Neck lift surgery is a fantastic procedure for someone who has some of the classic hallmarks of an aging neck. Skin laxity, muscle bands, and fat accumulation all contribute to an aged appearance. A well-performed neck lift with an experienced plastic surgeon can really help improve the appearance and make you look more youthful. Expect, two weeks of downtime before you would feel comfortable being in public with your hair down. The final results take up to one year, but the majority of your healing is going to happen in the first 6-10 weeks. Prices vary due to many factors but typically average $12,500-$15,000 in major metropolitan areas with an experienced board-certified plastic surgeon.
I can many times do this under a local anesthetic with a shorter down time. The costs can vary from $5500 to 8500.

Hi. A neck lift down time is about 7 to 14 days, and depends if you feel comfortable for socializing, since bruises and edema will fade completely in about 3 month.
This procedure is commonly performed as a Third Lower Facelift including the lifting of the muscles of this part of the face, and can be also combined with Blepharoplasty.
In my practice the package all included, meaning all medical cost and honorary fees of all the medical personell (from preops thru medicines to be taken after surgery) is US$3,650.00
