I have a scar on my neck/ chin area from when I was 5 years old and a dog bite. I have scars near my eye, nose, and side chin but these do not bother me. The surgeon did a wonderful job, but on my lower chin because the placement and how this skin does not drop with the rest of my face it makes me look like I have a double chin at any lower angle. Is there a way to reduce this scar?
It is possible that the scar could be improved but you need an in-person evaluation for a proper assessment.
Yes, most scars could be improved. However, a face to face evaluation is necessary to determine what needs to be done.
Thank you for sharing your question. It may be possible to revise the scar to improve upon its appearance. Seek out an in-person consultation to discuss your best options.
