How much does it cost to reduce breast.
Breast reduction is often covered by commercial insurance plans, assuming that the appropriate symptoms related to having large breasts are present. I recommend you check with your insurance company if breast reduction is a covered benefit. It can also be paid for with cash, and the price would vary depending on your case and the city you live in. I recommend getting a consultation from a board certified plastic surgeon in your community.
Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. In many instances a reduction can be covered by your medical insurance plan so I would reach out to them first to see. Assuming they do you can then visit a plastic surgeon for the best treatment plan and discussion of your out of pocket costs. They can also inform you of a self-pay model in the event that insurance denies the request.
I do a breast reduction as an outpatient. You would need to be in my areas for a minumum of 4 days. The cost can vary depending on what is done and how much is removed but less than $9K. Dr. Ed Domanskis
