Is this capsular contracture?

Hi!

Back in December 2019 I got a breast lift with implants done.

I had a very rough healing process. Some of my stitches opened.

My doctor was able to coach me through keeping the tissue healthy and not catch an infection. After about 2 months of wet to dry dressings. The wound closed.

June 2020 I Got a Breast Scar revision. Now my left implant sits high and looks deformed from the side.

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: Austin, TX

Yes it looks like it probably is.

We can remove the scar tissue so it sits in the right position and do a scar revision at the same time if you’d like to. I’m in El Paso TX.

Hello

It doesn’t look like CC. It look like double bubble efect that means Your undermuscular implant is located at the correct position and you breast tissue Has descended.

You will probably need a revisión and secundary breast Lift

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your wound-healing difficulties. . It is difficult without feeling your tissues to know what is currently taking place. Either a cap con if the implant and tissues on that side have hardened or a lack of skin resection during your lift, allowing for your natural breast tissue to fall over the front of the implant. I would seek second opinions from local surgeons to get the best treatment advice.
