Female, 18, 180 lbs (losing weight).
I have DDD size breasts. They’re very broad and big, which not only makes me look super big (I can fit a medium shirt in the waist, need an XL-XXL to compensate for breasts), but hurts my back something awful. I wanted a complete mastectomy, but I’ve settled for a reduction. Can I go down to an A cup?
Thank you for sharing your question. Difficult to give you the best advice without being able to see and feel your tissues, nor take key breast measurements, but it is unlikely you can reach an A cup. I would expect a B or C cup as blood flow to the nipple may be compromised if more tissue is removed. Hope this helps
Hello. I would like to see some pictures and a little more info like your height. Going from DDD TO A is difficult and can compromise circulation to tissues and nipple. Only Nipple graft could achieve that In my hand s. I advise to compromise in a significant reduction More like a C cup.
Best Regards
Going from a DDD to an A cup could be an emotional decision because of the pain suffering.
Need to think more about this.
However this can be done but may take more than one procedure. a reduction procedure , another with liposuction and finaly another with a breast lift if needed.
Kenova: You do not need to be an A, you need relief from your neck and back pain and restriction of activities. There is a 80% chance your health insurance will pay for a breast reduction surgery if you meet their criteria. They WILL NOT pay for mastectomies. Get yourself to a board-certified plastic surgeon and get evaluated. And if your weight is not under control- make an effort to do that, for breasts always fluctuate with weight gains, and this will be a lifelong problem otherwise. I am in Pittsburgh.
Hello. First, congratulations on your decision to lose weight . Second, it is very important for you t achieve your desire weight, or be near it, to opt for your Breast Reduction surgery because of getting the best health to undergo surgery and the most of the results. The cup size have to be decided in the personal consultation because it depends on a calculation that we make considering your chest diameter and form, your height and your torax structure.
