Is there a tightening procedure to treat batwings after a 40 pound weight loss back to my recommended weight? The elasticity is more of a concern than fat.
Thank you for sharing your question. Once skin has laxity, a surgical procedure involving tissue removal is needed. Hope this helps
This is an excellent and commonly asked question. When skin becomes lax and start to hang, the only way to treat this effectively is with surgery. The incisions for a brachioplasty generally extend down the arm from the armpit to the elbow region. There are many non-surgical products that claim to be effective. Unfortunately they are not. I hope that soon we will have a non-surgical approach to shrink skin without having to produce surgical scars. I hope that is helpful. Alexander Anzarut, Vancouver Island, Canada
The classic brachioplasty incision is from the arm pit to the elbow. It can be modified based on the patients anatomy of excess skin and fat.
In person examination is needed to give a detailed advise
The best option is an arm lift which removes the loose skin. See examples here: https://drgutowski.com/before-after-photos/body/arm-lift/
Hello. The Arm Lift is never mini. Ussually if the patient had lost a massive amount of weight is the only procedure that will correct the batwings, but it also involve a scar that travels horizontally from under the arm pit till the elbow. Your other option is to make exercise.
