Bra Line Back Lift

Determined to get a lift for the back rolls that have always been a problem and more so after gaining 40 pounds and losing it. I called several plastic surgeons in Chicago and other states and was told that it's still a very uncommon procedure. I'm desperate to have a bra line back lift and would love to know if it's really a safe and effective procedure.

Procedure: Body Lift

Thank you for sharing your question. A bra line back lift is a safe and effective procedure, especially for those patients with loose skin after significant weight loss. Combine it with liposuction and a very nice surgical result can be obtained. Hope this helps.

This is called an upper back lift. Can be combined with liposuction of back folds or thick layer of fat.

The scar is practically at the bra line on both sides. It is not a rare surgery but often needed after major weight loss.

Thank you for your question. A bra line back lift is designed to treat exactly the condition that you have described. It removes excess skin and fat in the back and lateral chest areas, tapering the incision in front in the crease under the breasts to hide the anterior scar. It is not a difficult procedure as it involves only skin removal and possibly some liposuction. It is a very safe and effective procedure when performed on the right patient.

Best wishes.

A bra line and back lift are both doable on selected patients and can give great results. An in person assessment is the best way to find out.

Thank you for your question. A back lift is a great procedure to treat loose skin and bra rolls of the back. The procedure is safe and effective, however it often times gets a bad rap because it does leave a scar in very visible part of your body. However, the scar can be well-hidden by your brassiere. Even in non-massive weight patients, this procedure can be beneficial. Liposuction does not address loose skin and there are many patients that end up with saggy skins after liposuction and a back lift can be used to address this problem.

Hello. Is not an uncommon procedure after a massive weight loss. This procedure will alow us to remove the excessive skin in the back, peciselly in the back bra line, and the back rolls.
