Hi joy243. Thanks for sharing so many angles & expressions. Looks like you have a recessed chin with a short upper height. You would benefit from having fillers placed to lift your cheeks and define your chin &jawline area. The fillers will also make your chin crease less deep. I typically use Juvederm Voluma. You will gain additional definition by reducing any residual fullness under the chin -possibly by using Kybella or CoolSculpting if its fat. Since you have nicely shallow nasolabial folds, marionettes and full lips, you won’t need other fillers to bring things into more harmony. Typical injections can be done in about 30 minutes with some topical numbing cream and an ice pack for comfort and swelling control. Be sure to stop aspirin or ibuprofen products to reduce the chances of bruising. Best wishes to you-Dr. Doolabh.

Good day and thank you for your questions. Dr. Monasebian, our Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, will answer your questions. He is also trained in Maxillofacial surgery and has worked over 30 years in treating the face. Dr. Monasebian would have to see you and examine you to look at your lips and chin as well as the rest of your face. Where you may benefit from soft tissue procedures, you may also benefit from hard tissue procedures. Of course this determination can only be made after a full examination of the mouth, teeth and jaws. We would be happy to see you if you are in the New York City area. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Regards, Dr. Monasebian and Park Avenue Plastic Surgery.

Your photos are helpful and appreciated. You have nice full lips and your jaw is a bit retrusive. Of course it is hard to evaluate your bones and teeth without an in-person consultation, but it looks as if a procedure to give you more chin would be the best long-term solution. The easiest of these would be a chin implant, which would give your lower face more balance. Your lips are in good proportion to each other now, and I would not recommend that they be reduced unless that is what you really want.
