Brazilian Butt Lift Recovery

I had fat transferred to my butt 8 weeks ago. I'm still very sensitive, just leaning on a wall hurts. Will it affect the final result of the surgery if I sit or will it just hurt? Is lying down on my back just as harmful? Thanks much

Procedure: Body Contouring
Location: North Miami Beach, FL

It’s unusual to have a lot of pain eight weeks out after a Brazilian butt lift. It might be a good idea to be seen by a doctor in person to make sure that your pain is due to normal healing or something else.

Dear Sivana,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. I typically have patients on "buttock rest" (no sitting for more than 15 minutes at a time, once per hour) for only 4 weeks postop. If you are having significant pain, or have questions, I suggest that you follow up directly with your surgeon. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!
