My labia minora detached during delivery

My labia minora detached during delivery . My labia minora is already small and tight. I do not want the detached part cut off. I would like to have to attached. If its removed than I wont have anything there. If this even a procedure what is it called and how much does it cost. It catches and get irritated often. I am only 3 weeks post partum and already know that it's not gonna heal correctly.

Procedure: Aesthetic Genital Plastic Surgery
Location: MIDLOTHIAN, TX

There are some changes with pregnancy and vaginal delivery. I do not understand what you mean by detached. Possibly an episiotomy during delivery??

See a plastic surgeon familiar with labiaplasty. communicate what you want and desire and most probably yo will get what you want.

Good day and thank you for your questions. Dr. Monasebian, our Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, will be able to address your concerns. He would have to see you in person to examine you and ask you questions. If indeed there was a tear of the labia, then surgery may be the only option. Without examining you however, this would be difficult to determine. After an examination, all options can be discussed. We would be happy to see you if you are in the New York City area. Medical insurance may help cover the costs of the procedure if deemed medically necessary which can be determined at your consultation. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Regards, Dr. Monasebian and Park Avenue Plastic Surgery.

Thank you for sharing your question. Unfortunately without photographs or an in-person examination it is difficult to offer advice but if torn, it should be possible to repair but depending on the size and location it may be better to address the full area. See a labiaplasty specialist in consultation
