I do not believe that your statement is true.
Liposuction done correctly and artistically and in the right plane, in the right patient, and in the right part of the body will cause more skin aging.

Thank you for sharing your question. Liposuction as a procedure will not alter or affect the inherent qualities of your skin. It can make issues already known to become more obvious however - loose sagging skin will only worsen in appearance if liposuction is performed as there is less fat, after liposuction, to stretch it out.
There is NO scientific evidence to support your feelings. I do not know how you came upon this opinion. You should seek face to face consultations with ASPS members that can provide you photographic evidence that your options are not true.

What happens to skin after a liposuction procedure depends on lots of factors, including the age of the patient, the inherent quality of the patient's skin in that area, and how much fat is being removed. For example, a young person with excellent skin elasticity can have liposuction and the skin will spring back well with no issue - this can be contrasted with someone who is perhaps a bit older with sun exposure, maybe a few pregnancies - all of these factors will reduce skin elasticity. That person would end up with loose skin.
That is to say, it is all about getting a consultation with a surgeon who has a significant amount of experience in this area and who could help determine if you are a good candidate for this procedure.
