As long as you are healthy and have enough hair at the donor site, you are not too old.
There is no age limit for hair transplant. We usually take the hair follicles from the occipital area of the head. However, consulting qualified doctors is suggested.

No, you are actually not too old , there is no age limitation for HT unless you have a serious health problem and approx %20 of m y patients are above 50 ..

Absolutely not - Dr. Rapaport himself underwent hair transplantation by his technician at age 57 with absolutely excellent results (please feel free to look at our website to see those results!). As long as you are in good health, do not have heart disease, do not smoke, and have adequate donor hair, you may be an excellent candidate. Many of our patients are over 50, and many of our patients are also well into their 60s!

I underwent two times for hair transplantation, first time small scar occur at the back of my head, in order to fix that scar, I went for another surgery , which resulted in a more wide scar, now it looks aweful, I went to one hair transplant surgeon, she advised me that to grow hair on this big area scar about more than 5 centimeter in width is a challange, so I bring this challenge for ASPS, is there any best surgeon who can successfully perform hair transplant on this scar.
