You can find well qualified surgeons on this website under "Find A Surgeon" link on top of the page. Put in the area or zip code and it lists board certified plastic surgeons close to you. Make consultation appointments with a few of them, talk to the surgeons and their staff, see their before/after pictures, get prices, read reviews by other patients, and then choose the one that you feel most comfortable with/trust the most.
There are plenty of great surgeon’s here. Go to the surgeon locator on either surgery.org or plastic surgery.org. Find their work on their websites or social media like Instagram.
There are a number of reputable websites to be able to start your search and certainly use the "find a surgeon" tab on this one.
Finding a plastic surgeon is a 4 step process
1. get names of surgeons - from friends, doctors or nurses you know, hospitals or the plastic surgery societies
2. check their credentials - where they trained, board certification, hospital privileges, experience and membership in professional societies
3. have a consultation with more than 1 surgeon and know what to ask
4. make a choice from the surgeons you have seen based on a checklist of factors important to you making safety your first priority and results your second priority

Los Angeles (think Beverly Hills) and Orange County (Newport Beach) are two areas in the USA that have a very high number of plastic surgeons so I can absolutely understand how overwhelming it may seem to start searching for the right surgeon for you! I agree with my colleagues that there are directories through the ASPS as well as social media platforms and online searches that will help you begin to narrow down the options. Friend referrals are always a good way to start too since you know their results and their experience. Also looking at before and after photos to find results that mimic your goals. And remember, it is fine to see multiple doctors to get their opinions before you make your choice!
