Seroma

Hi I had lipo 360 done in Miami and only have 2 lymphatic massages by pushing fluid through your incisions I got this massage 3 days after my surgery and continued with manual lymphatic massage where the fluid is pushed through your lymph nodes . I believe I am developing a seroma and can’t get in touch with my surgeon. I don’t believe the manual lymphatic massages are helping any suggestions ?

Procedure: Liposuction
Location: pittsburgh, PA

I Hope this finds you in better health

First of all You need to contact your surgeon ASAP and to follow his instructions

Till this happens you may benifit from massage and compression garments

Keep on physical activity as regular

Keep away from salty foods ( keeping menimum normal salts intake )

Hi

I am 100 percent sure that your surgeon is available for you. You just need to call the clinic where you had your surgery. He also surely provided you with an email and has an Instagram page where you can reach him.

Keep your compression garment as he instructed you and give it time since most will resolve. If needed , an ultrasound guided drainage ordered by your surgeon or your primary doctor will take care of it. Seromas or hematomas are common after lipo .

I agree that the best first course of action is to establish communication with your surgeon. If unable to do this, you may need to be evaluated by a surgeon near you.
