Fat Removed from my lower part of my stomach!emoved from.

Hello, I've lost over a 100 pounds over the past 10 years. I suffer from severe back pain and severe Neuropathy down my right leg. I was wondering if there's any way that fat can be removed from your stomach? If someone can give me some information about this, I would. Greatly appreciate it.

Procedure: Body Lift
Location: Hyannis, MA

Great question. The answer, though is a little complicated and depends on where your fat deposits lie. Liposuction, for instance addresses fat deposits that are under the skin, but superficial to the organs of the body. Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) addresses skin with its associated fat.

Some people have deeper fat, which lies within the abdominal cavity. This fat cannot be removed via surgery, at least not for cosmetic purposes.

So, your solution probably lies somewhere in the middle. You would be best served by visiting a board-certified plastic surgeon that has experience in weight loss reconstruction. That physician can give you a better answer after evaluating your specific anatomy.

Hello BonJovi. There is not such procedure as removing fat. After a massive weight loss like yours the body contour most be reconstructed in different stages. The main one been an Abdominoplasty plus Lipo. This procedure will allow us to thight your abdominal wall muscles and to remove all excessive skin and fat, as you wish.

There is no way for me to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure, I can evaluate you by pictures.
