Thank you to all that replied to my question regarding the cost of liposuction. I know my BMI of 37 is high and unfortunately I've already had the bariatric sleeve done June 2016. I lost around 38 pds, but unfortunately I've gained all but 10 of that back. I've had high blood pressure since 2001, type 2 diabetes since 2003 and the list goes on. I also have a sleep disorder.
That's terrific news that you lost a total of 28 pounds. Is your bariatric surgeon able to connect you with resources to support further weight loss? Liposuction is a great technique for removed fat cells from a persistent bulge, but it isn't effective for weight loss. Having a formal program with someone you check in with can be helpful, since weight loss is really a life style change rather than a diet.
All the best.
Dear Darla, Congratulations on your weight loss! I agree with previous comments on this thread -- Liposuction is excellent for body contouring, but is not a good option for weight loss. After surgery, the best option for weight loss is changing your lifestyle and diet. Good luck!
