Hate my face. Rhinoplasty cost and down time?

Hello!! Have wanted correction for my nose for many years and have care credit now to help with cost. What is the down time for rhinoplasty? Is there a way to find out what you would look like with a new nose before changing your face??

Procedure: Rhinoplasty
Location: Key West, FL

I think the most important question is what bothers you about your nose. The cost would be determined by what needs to be done to improve it.

(1/2) Thank you for sharing! Computer imaging, as one might guess, has been profoundly helpful. Both the doctor and their patient can visualize the new nose, review concepts, and work together to achieve the patient’s desired result. A nose should fit your facial features, skin tone, ethnicity, and even height. A good surgeon will work with you to achieve the most optimal results. However, many surgeons have their own “favorite style” when it comes to rhinoplasties: the ski jump look, the narrow bridge look, etc. You want to avoid carbon copy noses, so when you’re interviewing surgeons, ask to see their work and have them show you photographs so that you can choose which surgeon you’d like to proceed with for achieving your most desired result.

(2/2) Rhinoplasty can be performed as an outpatient under twilight sedation. The surgeon may need to break the bones, shave the tip of the nose, and either remove or mold the cartilage of your nose. Then the surgeon will place sutures and secure a dressing. A lightweight cast is applied to the top of the nose to keep the cartilage and bone in place during healing, and gauze packing is inserted in the nose for one to two days to protect the septum from moving and to minimize bleeding. While I've known patients who have felt perfectly comfortable dining out at restaurants when wearing the cast, most people go into hiding for a few days while the bruising and swelling subside. The post-op feeling is generally not painful, just uncomfortable. You will want to apply ice and elevate the head, and after a week, the cast comes off. I suggest making an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Hello. None of the image programs are ethical or to be believe, they are just commercial oriented. You may go out after 3 or 4 days from the surgery but using splint or adhesives over the nose for 14 days.

It was very important for you to share also a lateral photo to see your nose dorsum or bridge and evaluate if it needs some work. With the ones posted I can only evaluate the tip and the base. Then I will be able to tell you an all include medical package.

In my country we do not accept the extra care credit.
