I am 6 days post op When I try to get up I feel my right implant tighten I’ve had pain for one night I am also a lefty so I am assuming the right side is taking a bit more time to heal since I don’t use the arm as much as the left I just wanted to make sure this is normal and it’s not capsulation

Please contact your surgeon. By the way, it take 6-8 weeks to form a capsule around an implant.

Your surgeon would be best to explain things more specifically, but what you are describing sounds normal at this stage including the fact you feel tightness on one side more than the other. The skin will take time to stretch and the breast might feel tight during this process. If your implants were placed in dual plane or behind the muscle you might feel tightness when you move your arms. It is too early for the capsule to form.

Thank you for sharing your question. Although your pain is normal for many patients it is always best to ask your surgeon as they know the full details of your procedure.
