You should look on your insurance company’s website to see a list of plastic surgeons in your network. Those doctors offices will know what criteria you must meet for your insurance to cover your breast reduction.
Hello! We take many different insurance plans for breast reduction surgery, which for many patients is NOT a cosmetic surgery but rather an important surgery that can really impact and improve your quality of life.
Take care and good luck!

Most of our Breast Reductions are performed with insurance reimbursement, but every case is different. If you are willing to travel to Miami we may be able to preauthorize your surgery with your insurance company if you send us your insurance information.
Thank you for sharing your question. Insurance can be used for many breast reduction patients and the best path is to ask your insurance plan for local providers. Hope this helps
It is illegal for any physician to accept insurance payment for a cosmetic procedure. That is the choice and decision by insurance companies and the Federal Government. It has nothing to do with the desire of any individual physician. As others have stated below, you thankfully may have insurance coverage for a medically necessary breast reduction - thanks to the physician community who has spent its time and money to lobby on your behalf.
