Lipo and BBL

I have lupus and 2 babies and my body is destroyed! I wanted to do my surgery so bad of lipo 360, BBL and breast lift but I was rejected because of my lupus. What are other treatments or procedures I can have done to try to get somewhat normal. I’m so depressed and my self-esteem is on the floor! I’m a failure even as a woman too i can’t even look good for my husband. I’m heartbroken.

Procedure: Buttock Lift with Augmentation
Location: deltona, FL

Lupus like any other autoimmune disease comes in different degrees. It can effect all and any organ in the body.

Treatment can range from a very mild treatment to a very aggressive treatments with steroids, methotrexate, and humera or similar biologic. Therefore surgery and complications can be very high.

Do not take the advise not to do the surgery as being offending, the Plastic surgeon was looking after your safety.

Other than weight control, there are not much alternatives. Just remain healthy, diet and exercise and you required medications and loving yourself.

I am not sure of the specifics of your illness and would never want to contradict any of your doctors, but in my office we rely on the Primary Care physician to direct us on safety. I have the luxury, though of performing all of my surgeries in surgical centers or hospitals. Because the environment is safer it has allowed me to performed many of these reconstructive surgeries that you are describing, on patients with Lupus.

So, you might want to start by checking with the physician that is treating your Lupus. If they give you clearance, then you might go back to the surgeon or perhaps get another opinion.
