What are the requirements for transferring fat from my stomach to my breasts?

I am an obese woman but I am trying my best to lose weight. But, I have small breasts. This makes me look pregnant because I have my stomach sticking out & my breasts are small & not fully round. What are the requirements for stomach fat transfer to breasts & is there anything specific that will not allow you from doing this procedure such as any specific health issues? Thanks.

Procedure: Breast Augmentation
Location: JAMAICA, NY

This is not an uncommon concern of patients in my practice. Each patient is different, of course so it would be important to be evaluated in person.

You present 2 different problems. With regard to the belly, some fat can be removed with liposuction, but many patients have internal fat; fat inside, next to the bowls. This fat cannot be removed for safety reasons. Many of my patients have loose abdominal wall skin as well. In these cases I might be able to liposuction some areas in combination with tummy tuck to achieve an hour-glass Tummy Tuck.

The breasts are a separate concern. While adding fat is an option, there is a limit to how much can be added successfully. Having not seen you in person, it would be difficult to say, but most of my patients ask for larger breasts (wanting proportionality) than is possible with just fat injection. So, they will opt for breast implants.

Thank you for sharing your question. In order to get the most predictable and reproducible results, the best option would be to lose weight until you are at your goals, and then assuming you are an otherwise good candidate for surgery, the procedure could then be performed.
