I have a very undefined jaw and chin. There isn’t a lot of fat that needs to be removed but my throat/esophagus/vocal chords protrude out a lot further than the average person, I feel. I’m not entirely sure if a neck lift would even be beneficial or if it’s even correctable. All I know is, I’m only 34 and I look way older than I should. Help!
I have seen this before in patients. While it is true that your neck’s appearance is more common in older patients, anatomy obviously has a lot to do with this contour. You should consult with a surgeon in your area to hear what they have to say, but it looks similar to many of the patients that I have treated over the years.
Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Based on the picture alone it appears a neck lift would be the best option but an in-person examination is needed to offer the best advice
