4 Months Post Lower Bleph - What are These Creases?

Four months ago I had a transcutaneous blepharoplasty with canthopexy (along with a Facelift/Neck lift and fat grafting). Everything is looking good except I now have these lines/creases/rolls? under both lower eyelids. They improved dramatically between weeks 2 and 6 but really haven't improved at all from week 6 -16 and my Dr. seems perplexed. What are these lines and will they go away?

Procedure: Eyelid Surgery
Location: Washington, DC

What you see appears perfectly normal. That is the lower eyelid skin as it approaches the lower periocular skin. Sorry, you have a very good result. Best,

Based on the pictures posted, the results from a lower lid blepharoplasty are very good.

The lines yousee are the muscle contracting. In my patients I would recommend doing nothing.

The small bulging eyelid and the creases and lines after lower eyelid blepharoplasty are the natural creases and lines and the bulge is the symbol of youth, as for the lines can be fixed with excision of a small piece of the eyelid skin, and it will smooth the eyelid skin and have some improvement.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Your result is totally normal and an overall good one. I don't think there is anything to do. Best wishes
