It really depends upon what type of breast lift you need. Sometimes you can have a minor one with less cuts. The prices can vary from $1500-7000. If a person does have keloids, I use cortisone injections into the scars during surgery to minimze the possibiolity of keloids and then have the patient use my ScaRxtape for several months after the surgery. I would recommend sending photos to rachelle@surgery-plastic.com. I offer Skype/Facetime and What's up complimentary consultations and can do surgery in any of my offices that are listed in my sig file. Thank you for your question. Dr. Ed Domanskis

Given your history of bad keloids price should not be your first priority. Your first priority should be a good result and prevention of keloids. Cutting the skin with a laser is not a guarantee of keloid prevention. The only way to prevent keloid formation after surgery in those prone to it is months of appropriate care following surgery. You need to ask prospective surgeons how they will prevent the keloids from forming and then ask for pricing that includes the necessary months of care following surgery.

Dear Janine,

Hello and thank you for your excellent question. It is best to answer your question during a face-to-face evaluation, when you can discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure, and you can have a physical examination to evaluate for that procedure. Some techniques for breast lift, such as a no-vertical scar breast lift, will heal more quickly. I recommend that you find a board-certified, or board-eligible plastic surgeon with whom you are comfortable. Be sure to have all of your questions answered during a face-to-face meeting with your surgeon, and review before and after pictures of similar patients whom have had this procedure. If you have any questions, call our office for assistance. Good luck!

Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Costs will vary based on three cost centers - your surgeon, anesthesia, and facility. These vary across the country and so it best to see a series of surgeons in your area for a consultation to get the best recommendation based on the exact procedures needed to help you achieve your goals. Hope this helps.
