Nose shifting after rhinoplasty?

I’m interested in getting rhinoplasty but heard that the nose can shift afterward. Is this only the case while the nose is in the process of healing? and if I have a follow up later on, will the surgeon be able to tell if my nose is fully healed or still healing?

Procedure: Rhinoplasty
Location: Bratislava - Slovakia

In a rhinoplasty where the bones need to be broken, they will usually be healed in 3 weeks and will not move afterwards. If the cartilage of the septum is crooked, it can sometimes deviate again even after healing is complete.

Your surgeon can tell when healing is complete.

Nose doesn’t shift after healing, unless there is a septal deviation; if so, it can partly shift again, but not the way it was. We use spreader graft to minimize it, but I’m sure the plastic surgeon will inform you about it
