Am I Jumping the Gun?

My surgery is in a few weeks. I've seen my surgeon and I will have no liposuction, but I believe I still have about 30-40 lbs to lose. Should I wait? I'm so excited, but I wonder if I'm jumping the gun.

Procedure: Tummy Tuck
Location: Sutherland, NE

That question should be directed to your surgeon

You should certainly talk to your surgeon about this as everyone could be someone different. However, in my practice, I would encourage someone to be closer to goal weight prior to body contouring of any sort for optimal results.

Loose weight. No doubt. Better results, decrease of risks .

You have not mentioned the surgery. From your question, it appears you plan to have bariatric surgery. There are set criteria for it and your surgeon must be aware of it and explained to you
