Lower body lift with augmentation, does this impact the lower front and back thighs?

51 crepe loose skin on thighs. Initially interested in thigh lift and yes understand the large long veriticle scars. Does a lower body lift with augmentation REALLLY improve lower thighs - all thighs on front expecially? how much improvement?

Procedure: Body Lift
Location: Chandler, AZ

Honestly, the trade off for scars is tough to rationalize and if your excess skin is minimal then perhaps some non invasive skin tightening would be more helpful. Consider less aggressive options.

As a specialist in plastic surgery after weight loss, I would advise against the vertical scar. What I would recommend is a thigh lift using a groin crease incision -- this scar sits on the bikini line in the front and in the upper thigh/buttock fold in the back. For you it will really give shape to the lower buttock/upper thigh area and give definition between the two regions. Check out pictures I posted on my IG @drbodycontouring. I would not recommend a lower body lift in the traditional sense.

Hello. I wouldn’t suggest you a tradinional thigh lift. Your excess skin seem to be minimal. You can benefit from other skin tightening methods.

Thank you for the pictures. I agree with the other surgeons here. I think a vertical scar in your case would be overkill. I think you would get a good result with minimally invasive / percutaneous modalities such as J-plasma/renuvion to achieve your results. You may also benefit from RF micronedling. Please. consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes!

The long vertical scars are not for you. The most you need is a medial lift with groin incisions. All the best

A vertical scar would be an atrocity on your legs. From the looks of the pictures in my opinion a lower body lift or thigh lift is not indicated and I would tell you not to have surgery. I would not do it.
