Is this an okay option?

I am 16 and I feel that I have extremely sagging breasts. They are cup size C maybe slightly bigger but no bra properly fits because of how low they are. It hurts my back as well. I don’t know if this is normal but I feel like I need to have them lifted. What do I do?

Procedure: Breast Lift
Location: Farmington, CT

You should make an appointment for a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

A "C" cup does not seem so large. You may have some sagging (ptosis). A lot of things could be done but you need an in person with an ABPS certified plastic surgeon close to your home. Make an appointment for a consultation.

Thanks for your question. based on the information you provided you may be a candidate for a breast reduction procedure or a mastopexy (breast lift). The two operations are similar but also differ in a couple of ways

Breast Reduction - excess breast tissue is removed, as is excess skin, as well lifting the nipple/areola to the proper position so it does not have the "saggy" appearance. This operation is best suited for women who feel that their breasts are too large.

mastopexy (breast lift) - Excess skin is removed, and the nipple/areaoa is also lifted to the proper position to avoid the saggy appearance very minimal breast tissue is removed. This option is best suited for women who do not feel that their breasts are too large and like the appearance of their breasts in a bra, but feel that their breasts are sagging.

Please meet with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine which operation if any you are a candidate for.

Best wishes!
