Surgery Markings

Hello ~ is it common for a surgeon to ask you to shower, and come in the day before your breast surgery for your markings…? Instead of showering the day of surgery and receiving markings just before ??

Procedure: Breast Lift
Location: Anna, TX

Either one is reasonable. It depends on the schedule.

It depends on the surgeon's training and experiences. I used to mark everybody the day before but I have changed to marking just before surgery as I did not see any advantage of doing it the day before. This is my experience and not everybody else's. Either way is just fine and good surgeons are going to do it either one way or the other.

Hello. It depends on the surgeons method, I preffer my patients to bath in the early morning and I make the marks right before the surgery in their hospital room.
