I've read about FUE and FUT types of transplants. Is there a preferred one between the two? Also, how long do recipients have to go back in before that also starts falling out. I understand that one of them leaves scars and one doesn't. Is that true too? Thanks!

Follicular Unit Extraction leaves multiple spaced out 1 millimeter scars which are essentially invisible. A strip harvest leaves a potentially visible scar if you wear your hair short. The hair follicles harvested from the back of your head should last your whole life. If you are still losing hair from the front, that process may continue, but the transplanted hairs are safe.
The harvested hair follicles need to be placed in a cold preservative solution during the couple of hours between harvest and implantation.
Good luck.
Once there is any surgery , there will be scars , the difference is big or small!
